Cathodic protection (CP) measurements must be carried out regularly. But cathodic protection measurements are labour-intensive, costly and (importantly) reactive - they do not identify corrosion problems but are merely spot measurements taken after a problem may have occurred.
Abriox’s MERLIN system takes cathodic protection measurements automatically, analyses and stores the data and transmits it wirelessly to a central location. The system is proactive - ie it identifies potential cathodic protection problems wherever and whenever they occur and alerts the operator immediately. It has important economic, operational, safety and environmental benefits.
We have developed the MERLIN cathodic protection monitoring system to monitor cathodic protection levels remotely.
