Corrosion monitoring is an increasingly important aspect of a well designed pipeline protection system.
Corrosion measurements must be carried out regularly. But corrosion measurements are labour-intensive, costly and (importantly) reactive - they do not identify corrosion problems but are merely spot measurements taken after a corrosion problem may have occurred.
Abriox’s MERLIN Corrosion Monitoring System takes CP measurements automatically, analyses and stores the data and transmits it wirelessly to a central location.
