Accessories and Options
Our aim is to ensure that the MERLIN system delivers a high level of functionality according to varying CP requirements. To this end we supply various accessories and options for our MERLIN Monitors including:
Antennas
Monitors contain an internal antenna and usually this will be adequate to deliver reliable GSM communication. However, in weak GSM areas we can provide monitors with an external antenna to improve the signal. These include directional and high gain antennas optimised for the required frequencies.
Relays
An external relay is required to switch the output of the TR on and off remotely and/or to take an instant OFF measurement at the TR. Abriox supplies a MERLIN Relay Unit, which is a solid state relay specially designed for remote synchronisation* of TR output according to a user-selectable cycle. It is also suitable for switching the output of the TR off and on remotely and for instant OFF measurement.
