Accessories
When purchasing a MERLIN Transformer Rectifier Monitor or MERLIN XT Transformer Rectifier Monitor, the following Abriox accessories should be considered:
• MERLIN Interrupter or mercury relay for synchronised interruption (also required for instant OFF potential measurement)
• Surge arrestors in areas prone to lightning
• Reference electrode for potential measurements at the drain point
• Current shunt, where one is not readily accessible at the rectifier or Interrupter
• DC/DC convertor if installing at a solar station
And, for GSM MERLIN monitors only (not required for MERLIN XT which has satellite communications):
• External antenna for GSM communication
• External antenna for GPS remote synchronisation
• Magnetic fixing kit for mounting in metal rectifier casing
• Abriox magnet for switching monitor on
