The Position:

Reporting to the Production Coordinator your principal duties will be:

  • Kitting of material and assist in inventory control and management
  • Manufacture and test our MERLIN and OSPREY products and accessories
  • Ensure products manufactured meet CE, UL and ATEX standards and adhere to our documentation and processes
  • Test products to a designated test specification
  • Labelling, packing and shipping of finished products
  • Keep detailed records in keeping with external standards such as ISO9001:2015 and EN ISO/IEC 80079-34:2018

About You:

  • Experience working with electronics is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to adhere to procedures and external standards
  • Computer literate; Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of IPC soldering standards is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge and adherence of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements
  • Highly adaptable and flexible approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Attention to detail and quality is essential
  • Organisation and ability to work independently to a production schedule
  • Good written and verbal communication that is clear and persuasive
  • Good physical dexterity due to the nature of the work
