Abriox recently hosted their 4th Cathodic Protection Monitoring Conference at the Mercure Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa in Coventry. The event was well attended by cathodic protection professionals and engineers from all backgrounds.
Open to all gas and petrochemical companies and attended by Design Engineers, Network/Pipeline Engineers and CP/Pressure specialists - there were presentations on AC corrosion, industry best practices, cathodic protection of carrier pipelines in tunnels, case studies and a number of cathodic protection equipment manufacturers also displayed their products.
Guest speakers included Dr. David Eyre from Penspen, Jason Peters from BAC Corrosion Control, Robert Harvey from Cathodic Protection and Dr. Pat Lydon from IACS Corrosion Engineering.
The event also provided good networking opportunities and the chance for delegates to meet other professionals in the industry.
