Abriox has exhibited and presented a paper to the Australian Corrosion Association’s annual conference.
The 2013 event, held at the Brisbane Convention Centre in Queensland, took place from 10-13 November. It brought together leading experts on corrosion and its mitigation to discuss the latest industry advances and issues.
Abriox exhibited jointly with professional services firm SMEC, which is working with Abriox to promote its CP monitoring technology in Australia.
The Abriox paper, titled “Remote Monitoring of Cathodic Protection: the UK Experience”, was presented by Kevin Woodland of SMEC Australia. It described the installation by UK utilities of remote CP monitoring systems and the successes obtained in terms of return on investment, better asset management and improved compliance as well as health, safety and environmental benefits.
